Wells is 7-0 against Lund since December of 2014, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Wells Leopards will be playing at home against the Lund Mustangs at 2:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
After a string of three wins, Wells' good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 46-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of Owyhee. Wells has struggled against Owyhee recently, as their contest on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Lund's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 82-46 loss at the hands of McDermitt. While losing is never fun, Lund can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Nevada basketball rankings (they are ranked 87th, while McDermitt is ranked 34th).
Wells' loss dropped their record down to 12-12. As for Lund, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.
Wells strolled past Lund in their previous meeting last Saturday by a score of 49-31. Does Wells have another victory up their sleeve, or will Lund turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
