Even though Queens Teaching scored an imposing 56 points on Tuesday, the Bowne Wildcats still came out on top. Bowne took their game against Queens Teaching 67-56. The win made it back-to-back wins for Bowne.
Bowne had a senior duo take command as Khaleel Williams-Mitchell dropped a double-double on 26 points and 11 rebounds and Christopher Judge scored 28 points along with eight rebounds and six steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Judge has scored at least 25% of Bowne's points. Another player making a difference was Josiah Salmon, who scored seven points along with ten rebounds and four steals.
Bowne's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Queens Teaching, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bowne will be home for the holidays to greet Eagle Academy III at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
