Having just played yesterday, the North Park Wildcats will head out on the road to face off against the West Grand Mustangs at 2:30  p.m.  on February 17th. Hopefully North Park focused on turnovers this week  since the team gave up six on Friday.
 North Park scored the most points they've had all season to find success. They were the clear victor by a  76-52 margin over Soroco. The  victory was just what North Park needed coming off of a  74-50 loss in their prior  game.
  Jace Cornelison had an outrageously good game as he  scored 19 points along with seven  assists.  Gavin Pittington was another key contributor,  scoring ten points along with five  rebounds and three  steals.
 Meanwhile, West Grand's recent rough patch got a bit rougher  on Saturday after their fourth straight  defeat. They were the victim of a  rough 49-23 loss at the hands of Vail Mountain. West Grand was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at  30-10.
 Despite their  loss, West Grand saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays.  Cooper Martinson, who  dropped  a double-double on ten points and ten  rebounds, was perhaps the best of all. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Martinson has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kai Edson, who  scored five points along with two  steals.
 North Park's victory bumped their record up to 7-10. As for West Grand, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-14.
 Saturday's  matchup is shaping up to be a scrappy  match:  North Park  have been smashing the glass this season,  having  averaged 27.2  rebounds per game. It's a different story for West Grand, though, as  they've been averaging  only 13  rebounds per game. Given North Park's sizable advantage in that area, West Grand will need to find a way to close that gap.
 North Park strolled past West Grand in their previous matchup  back in January by a score of  51-32. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was  West Grand's  Stran Lechman, who  scored 15 points.
