After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lowndes, Jenkins was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They took their match with ease, bagging a 65-6 win over the Groves Rebels. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Rebels recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Special teams was a major factor in the game for Jenkins, racking up 21 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Torean Wilson, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.

Jenkins didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Akeviyahn Haynes and Clinton Rhodes. Haynes got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

The win got Jenkins back to even at 1-1. As for Groves, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Jenkins wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 45-7 victory against Liberty County on the 5th. As for Groves, they have also already played their next game, a 50-20 defeat against Long County on the 5th.
