The Miamisburg Vikings will face off against the Tippecanoe Red Devils at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Monday, Miamisburg needed a bit of extra time to put away St. Xavier. They came out on top against the Bombers by a score of 2-1 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). The Vikings haven't had any issues with the Bombers recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Reed Warner looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Miamisburg is undefeated when Warner allows one or fewer earned runs, but 7-13 otherwise.
On the hitting side, Miamisburg's victory was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Jake Craiglow, who went 3-for-4 with one double and one RBI. That's the most hits Craiglow has posted since back in April. Another was Andrew Hoerner, who went 3-for-4 with one double and one RBI.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Tippecanoe). They put the hurt on Northmont with a sharp 17-3 win on Friday. The Red Devils might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 15 games by six runs or more this season.
Tippecanoe let James Merry and Preston Zumwalt run wild. Merry went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, two RBI, and one double, while Zumwalt went 3-for-4 with three runs, two RBI, and one double. Brady Liskey was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
Tippecanoe kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in four consecutive contests.
Tippecanoe's victory bumped their record up to 21-3. As for Miamisburg, their win bumped their record up to 11-13.
