Depew and Iroquois are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2018, but not for long. The Depew Wildcats will be playing at home against the Iroquois Chiefs at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
Two weeks ago, Depew might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Nichols an easy 61-40 victory.
Meanwhile, even though West Seneca West scored an imposing 68 points on Thursday, Iroquois still came out on top. Iroquois managed a 74-68 victory over West Seneca West. The score was all tied up 31-31 at the break, but Iroquois was the better team in the second half.
Depew's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Iroquois, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Depew strolled past Iroquois in their previous meeting back in February by a score of 62-46. Does Depew have another victory up their sleeve, or will Iroquois turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
