The home team had won the previous five meetings between Kettle Run and Brentsville District, and Kettle Run kept the tradition alive. The Cougars blew past the Tigers 8-1 on Monday. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matches by six runs or more this season.

Kettle Run has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.9 runs on average over those games. As for Brentsville District, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-7.
