6A District 4 recap November 5, 2013
St. Augustine extended the longest winning streak in 6A District 4 this week by beating Matanzas, 42-6. The victory was the eighth in a row for the team.
St. Augustine took down the Pirates 42-6 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Bartram Trail's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. PJ Blazejowski threw for 140 and 1 touchdown and Romello Bentley had 48 yards receiving. On the ground Blazejowski chipped in 85 yards. Angel Toyens helped Bartram Trail's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 36 yards.
Blazejowski put up the best numbers in passing as the Bears defeated Nease. Blazejowski's favorite target this week was Bentley, who caught 5 passes for 48 yards.
Bartram Trail's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Bears feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Blazejowski has thrown for 1,390 yards and 9 touchdowns this season, while Bentley has 37 catches for 486 yards.
Bartram Trail's David Coleman is a mere 45 yards away from breaking the 1,000-rushing-yards mark for the season. In 102 carries Coleman has put up 955 yards this year.
