Sunnyslope has gone a perfect 9-0 against Pinnacle recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Vikings will look to defend their home court against the Pioneers at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Sunnyslope proved they can win big last Monday (they won by three) and last Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out Desert Vista 3-2. The victory continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Thunder: they've now won seven in a row.
Sunnyslope got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-27, 30-28, 20-25, 25-21, 15-12.

Sunnyslope was able to grind out a solid victory over Pinnacle when the teams last played back in November of 2024, winning 3-1. Will the Vikings repeat their success, or do the Pioneers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
