The Hempstead Bobcats suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Friday. They had to suffer through a rough 92-46 loss at the hands of Hitchcock. Hempstead has not had much luck with Hitchcock recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
When it comes to explaining why Hempstead lost, one person who can't be blamed is Floyd Ragston. Despite the final result, he scored 16 points along with four steals. Ragston is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. Jamari Idlebird was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with five rebounds.
Hempstead's loss dropped their record down to 13-11. As for Hitchcock, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-3.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Boling the next time they take the court. Hempstead will host Boling at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while Hitchcock will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
