Providence Christian Academy gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They crushed Cross Keys 49-12. Providence Christian Academy was expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Providence Christian Academy's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 35 points in the first half. Cross Keys came up with 6 to put the score at 35-6. The other side of the ball was dominant for Providence Christian Academy in the second half, holding Cross Keys to a measly 6 points. This was the first game for both teams, giving Providence Christian Academy a 1-0 record and starting Cross Keys off at 0-1.
