The Nordonia Knights were the 39-34 winner over the Twinsburg Tigers when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Nordonia fell to Twinsburg 50-46.
Twinsburg got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Taylor Dye out in front who scored 9 points along with 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Jaci Hutton was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with 6 rebounds.
Nordonia's defeat was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 1-4. As for Twinsburg, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 1-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Nordonia will take on Wadsworth at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Wadsworth is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. As for Twinsburg, they will head out on the road to face off against Solon at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
