Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Southwestern). They breezed by the New Washington Mustangs to the tune of 80-49 on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Rebels also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.

Southwestern's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for New Washington, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Southwestern won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Batesville at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. New Washington and Salem will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
