They came out on top against La Canada on Wednesday by a score of 65-61 (the very same score they lost by the week prior). Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
South Pasadena was led to victory by Jack Madison and Derek Peterson. Madison scored 17 points along with nine rebounds and two steals, while Peterson scored 29 points. Peterson hasn't dropped below 15points for five straight games. Sebastian Martinez was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with seven assists and three steals.
South Pasadena is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season. As for La Canada, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-10.
