Calvary Christian managed a 78-74 victory over Seffner Christian. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Ace Taylor was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 46 points and 12 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Ethan Sabec, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds.
Meanwhile, it may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Berkeley Prep ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Wesley Chapel and snuck past 65-62. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Calvary Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season. As for Berkeley Prep, they pushed their record up to 15-2 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.
