Volleyball Recap: Whitefish's Winning Streak Snapped at Three Games + How To Watch

If Whitefish was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Corvallis on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bulldogs took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hamilton Broncs on Saturday. The Bulldogs' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Hamilton scored at least 17 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-22, 21-25, 25-17.

Camry Kelch paced Whitefish's offense, picking up ten kills. Kelch got some help from Allie Shors and her 28 assists. Finally, Stella Frisbee kept Whitefish's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

Whitefish's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4-1. As for Hamilton, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-1-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Whitefish is packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will take on Bigfork at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hamilton, they will head out to challenge Frenchtown at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
