Hobart won against Hammond Morton on Monday with 14 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. The Brickies put the hurt on the Hammond Central Wolves with a sharp 14-2 win. The victory continues a trend for the Brickies in their matchups with the Wolves: they've now won four in a row.

The team relied heavily on Alex Martin, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one triple. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Landon Koritko, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Hobart kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Hammond Central only managed three hits.

Hobart now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Hammond Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-12-1 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hobart will take on New Prairie at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Cougars will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Brickies surely won't give up without a fight. As for Hammond Central, they will challenge River Forest at 4:45 p.m. on Friday. The Ingots will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Wolves surely won't give up without a fight.
