 Meanwhile, Rondout Valley came up short against  Marlboro Central on Tuesday, falling  3-0. The Ganders haven't had much luck with the Dukes recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
 Rondout Valley was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Marlboro Central work for it, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 26-24,  25-8.
 Roosevelt's victory bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Rondout Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 3-8.
 Everything went Roosevelt's way against Rondout Valley in their previous matchup  back in October of 2023, as Roosevelt made off with  a  3-0 win. Will Roosevelt repeat their success,  or does  Rondout Valley have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
