Hale has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will face off against the Au Gres-Sims Wolverines at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Au Gres-Sims took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Hale, who comes in off a win.
Hale scored the most points they've had all season to find success last Friday. They were the clear victor by a 46-22 margin over Atlanta. Hale has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 24 points or more this season.
Meanwhile, Au Gres-Sims came up short against Hillman on Thursday and fell 61-52.
Sophie Fox put forth a good effort for the losing side as she dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Lillie Maser was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.
Even though they lost, Au Gres-Sims were working as a unit and finished the game with ten assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
Hale has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 3-3 record this season. As for Au Gres-Sims, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.
Things could have been worse for Hale, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 43-28 loss to Au Gres-Sims in their previous matchup back in March of 2023. Can Hale avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
