It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Jupiter Christian Eagles had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Defenders 48-45. The victory was nothing new for Jupiter Christian as they're now sitting on three straight.
Jupiter Christian was led to victory by Matthew Barron and Conner Hoffman. Barron scored 11 points, while Hoffman scored 16 points along with eight rebounds and three blocks. It was the first time this season that Hoffman posted two or more blocks.
Jupiter Christian now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Lake Worth Christian, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 17-9.
Jupiter Christian will head out on the road to challenge Atlantic Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Jupiter Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up eight on Tuesday. Lake Worth Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
