Kylie Leonard was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Hayden Bachman, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Thomaston has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-7 record this season. As for Housatonic, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.

Housatonic's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Thomaston has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .455. It's a different story for Housatonic, though, as they've only averaged .324. Will they be able to contain Thomaston's hitters?
