Maci Minister was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with three stolen bases, four runs, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Aubrey Paul, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.
Centerburg has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Westerville South, their loss dropped their record down to 2-14.
