The Golden View Classical Academy Sentinels were the 35-30 winner over the Thomas MacLaren School Highlanders when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Golden View Classical Academy had to suffer through a rough 57-28 loss at the hands of Thomas MacLaren School.
Golden View Classical Academy lost on Friday despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Ainsley Chidester, who scored eight points along with six rebounds. Chidester continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Jocelyn Le was another key contributor, scoring five points along with four blocks.
Golden View Classical Academy dropped their record down to 6-10 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 22.7 points per game. As for Thomas MacLaren School, they now have a winning record of 9-8.
Golden View Classical Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Thomas MacLaren School, they will head out on the road to take on Dolores Huerta Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
