Texico waltzed into their match  on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Hagerman Bobcats with a sharp  3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Wolverines, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

 Kinzee Crow paced Texico's offense, picking up 14 kills. Crow got some help from  Kailie Wieland and her 20 assists.  Kaydence Lucero controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.
 Several Bobcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Ariana Magallanes, who  had nine  digs and six  kills. Magallanes has been hot, having  posted five or more  kills the last eight times she's  played.  Raeanne Talamantes was another key player,  getting four  digs and three  aces.
Texico's victory bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Hagerman,  they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 8-8.
 Texico didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  3-2  defeat against Portales on the 18th. As for Hagerman, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  matchup,  a  3-0  win against Loving on the 21st.
