The Forest Hills Rangers will face off against the Bellefonte Raiders at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Forest Hills is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.2 runs per game this season.

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last three times Forest Hills and Central Cambria have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Tuesday. The Rangers fell just short of the Red Devils by a score of 5-4. The Rangers haven't had much luck with the Red Devils recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Forest Hills saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kolbie Smiach, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Meanwhile, Bellefonte fell victim to Huntingdon and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bearcats. The Raiders' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Peyton Vancas put in work while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, getting three hits from his three at bats.

Forest Hills' loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Bellefonte, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Forest Hills' speedy runners might be the difference in Friday's match. The Rangers have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.8 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Bellefonte, though, as they've been averaging only 1 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Forest Hills continue to outrun the ball?
