Claysburg-Kimmel is  a perfect 5-0 against Fannett Metal since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Bulldogs will challenge Fannett Metal at 4:30  p.m. Claysburg-Kimmel is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.
Claysburg-Kimmel came out on top against Southern Fulton  on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run first inning. The Bulldogs never let the Indians get on the board and left with  a   10-0  victory. Considering the Bulldogs have won nine games by more than eight  runs this season, Tuesday's  blowout was nothing new.

 Launa Musselman made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only two  hits while striking out nine over five innings pitched. Those  nine  strikeouts gave  her a new career-high. She was also solid in the batter's box,  going 1-for-2 with two  RBI and one  double.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Harlee Harcolerode, who  went 1-for-2 with one  home run, two  runs,  and one  stolen base. She has been hot recently, having  posted  at least one  home run the last three times she's  played.  Bella Francona was another key player,  going a perfect 2-for-2 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  double.
 Meanwhile, Fannett Metal hadn't done well against Everett recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way  on Monday. Fannett Metal skirted past Everett  4-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  win Fannett Metal has posted  since April 22, 2024.
 Fannett Metal is  on a roll lately: they've  won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record  this season. Those  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Claysburg-Kimmel, their win was  their 21st straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 13-0.
 Everything went Claysburg-Kimmel's way against Fannett Metal when the teams last played  back in May of 2024, as Claysburg-Kimmel made off with  a  9-2 victory. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success,  or do  Fannett Metal have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
