It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-40, which was the final score in John Mall's tilt against Crowley County last Friday. This makes it the second defeat in a row for John Mall.
Meanwhile, their game two weeks ago wasn't at all kind to Ellicott, but their most recent matchup may have softened the blow. They took their match against Trinidad 18-6. The win was a breath of fresh air for Ellicott as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.
Ellicott's victory lifted them to 1-6 while John Mall's loss dropped them down to 2-5. We'll find out if Ellicott can add another positive mark to their record or if John Mall can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Ellicott's step.
