Logan's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the St. Albans Red Dragons 41-6. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won five matchups by 22 points or more so far this season.

Logan's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Lucas Lambert led the charge by picking up 82 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Another player making a difference was Caleb Johnson, who gained 94 total yards and a touchdown.

Logan didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited St. Albans to a completion percentage of just 45.5%. That dominant aerial defense primarily came from two players: Tanner Akers and Dakota Maynard, who each logged one passes deflected. Logan wasn't nearly as limited: they posted one of 69.2%.

Logan's defense didn't let Reece Lilly, get away unscathed either: they got into the backfield for three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Braxton Wolford, Rob Ball, and Jaxon McClung, who each picked up one sack apiece. Logan received some extra help from Bentley Williamson, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.

Logan's record now sits at 7-2. As for St. Albans, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Logan will square off against Westside at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for St. Albans, they will take on Chapmanville Regional at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Red Dragons' defense better be ready for this one: the Tigers have averaged an impressive 38.8 points per game this season.
