Countryside fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against IMG Academy Navy on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Ascenders by a score of 7-6. The Cougars' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.
Braeden Callahan put in work no matter where he played. He pitched 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.
