Jenkins had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They blew past the Thomas Walker Pioneers 17-2. Considering the Cavaliers have won four games by more than 14 runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Jenkins pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Thomas Walker, they are on an 18-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Coming up, Jenkins is taking a road trip to challenge Lee County at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Cavaliers are facing the Bobcats at the right time seeing as the Bobcats are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Thomas Walker, they will square off against Rye Cove at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
