The biggest upset of the week belonged to Harrison, who took down 483rd ranked Beaverton, 41-20.
Gladwin's Landon Grove recorded the longest rushing play in Jack Pine this season in his game against Roscommon last week. Grove's team topped the Bucks as he sprinted for 75 yards on the play and finished with 149 in all.
Brett Jobin was the best wideout in the league this week as Roscommon lost to Gladwin. Jobin tallied three receptions for 25 yards. Caleb Jernigan helped Roscommon's passing attack out by catching one ball for 17 yards.
Grove put up the best numbers through the air as Josh Shattuck's team defeated Joe Holloway's team. He finished with a total of five completions for 56 yards and one touchdown. Grove's favorite target this week was Brandon Wackerle, who caught two passes for 25 yards.
Gladwin's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Flying G's feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Grove has thrown for 632 yards and five touchdowns this season, while Demetri Trice has 14 catches for 395 yards. Grove also leads the league in rushing with 522 yards.
A big matchup in Jack Pine this week will be when the Flying G's take on Meridian. Gladwin is in third place, while the Mustangs are in first place.
Meridian extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Houghton Lake, 34-24. This was the team's fourth consecutive win.
