Franklin Regional entered their tilt with Kiski Area on Friday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They were the clear victors by  a  16-2 margin over the Cavaliers. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matches by ten  runs or more this season.
 Chloe Lancaster was a  major factor no matter where she played. She  tossed five innings while giving up just two earned runs off   five  hits. Lancaster was also solid in the batter's box,  going 1-for-3 with four  RBI and one  double. Those  four  RBI gave  her a new career-high.
 In other batting news,  CC Copeland was  incredible,  getting on base  in all five of her plate appearances with seven  stolen bases, three  runs,  and three  RBI. With that strong performance,  she is now averaging an impressive 1.2  stolen bases per game. Another player making a difference was  Adrianna Martz, who  went 1-for-3 with three  runs, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI.
 Franklin Regional was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .481. They are  a perfect 7-0 when  they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Franklin Regional pushed their record up to 9-3 with the  win, which was their fourth straight  on the road. The  road  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Kiski Area, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-8.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Franklin Regional will venture away from home to  square off against Fox Chapel  at 3:45  p.m.  on Monday. As for Kiski Area, they will head out to  challenge Butler  at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
