The Naches Valley Rangers were the 32-22 winner over the La Salle Lightning when they last played one another back in October of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Naches Valley took a 21-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of La Salle on Friday. It was the first time this season that Naches Valley let down their fans at home.
Although Naches Valley took the loss, they still got scores from Tucker Stephens and Jett Hires.
La Salle was led to victory by Kai Hanrahan and Johan Valladares. Hanrahan rushed for 67 yards and a touchdown, while Valladares rushed for 175 yards and two touchdowns.
Naches Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for La Salle, their win was their sixth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which bumped their overall record up to 8-1.
Naches Valley will challenge Royal at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Royal will be coming into the contest with an undefeated record on the line. As for La Salle, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Connell at 7:00 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Washington (Connell is ranked 139th, while La Salle is ranked 133rd).
