Estill County has gone a perfect 10-0 against Lee County recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Engineers will challenge the Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. Lee County took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Estill County, who comes in off a win.
Estill County is headed out in good spirits considering the team just ended their winless streak on the road against Owsley County on Monday. The Engineers were the clear victors by an 18-1 margin over the Owls / Lady Owls. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Engineers' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Dawson Moore made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April of 2025. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kooper Powell, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2025. Another player making a difference was Mason Griggs, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
Estill County always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .649. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Owsley County only posted an OBP of .421.
Fans were treated to a battle of the Bobcats on Friday. Lee County lost 11-2 to Breathitt County. Lee County has struggled against Breathitt County recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
Lee County now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Estill County, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.
Everything went Estill County's way against Lee County when the teams last played back in April of 2025, as Estill County made off with a 15-1 victory. Will the Engineers repeat their success, or do the Bobcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
