Atlantic Christian and Berean Christian are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2017, but likely not for long. Atlantic Christian is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 11.2 runs per game this season.

Landon Moffitt made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out seven batters over 4.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off six hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in seven consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

In other batting news, David Gonzalez was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. He is becoming a predictor of Atlantic Christian's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 0-5 when he doesn't). Another player making a difference was Micah Herring, who scored three runs and stole Two bases. while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Berean Christian and Glades Day had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. Berean Christian came up short against Glades Day on Thursday, falling 16-1. The loss continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Gators: they've now lost three in a row.
Berean Christian saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Elijah Brown, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double.
Atlantic Christian pushed their record up to 6-5 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Berean Christian, they now have a losing record of 3-4.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. Atlantic Christian has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.8 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Berean Christian struggles in that department as they've been averaging 4.7 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Atlantic Christian took their victory against Berean Christian in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 11-1. Will Atlantic Christian repeat their success, or does Berean Christian have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
