Salesian is 1-0 against Bosco Tech since October of 2022, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Salesian Mustangs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bosco Tech Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the pair posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
Salesian had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 35 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They took their match on the road with ease, bagging a 57-20 victory over St. Monica. The result was nothing new for Salesian, who have now won four games by 22 points or more so far this season.
Cameron Crutcher and Ayden Ramirez were among the main playmakers for Salesian as the former rushed for 97 yards and three touchdowns on only seven carries and the latter gained 218 total yards and four touchdowns. Ramirez was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 53 yards. Another player making a difference was Michael Edwards, who rushed for 84 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries.
Meanwhile, Bosco Tech had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past Verbum Dei Jesuit 41-12 at home.
Their wins bumped Salesian to 7-1 and Bosco Tech to 4-4.
Everything came up roses for Salesian against Bosco Tech in their previous matchup back in October of 2022 as the squad secured a 65-0 victory. Will Salesian repeat their success, or does Bosco Tech have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
