After losing to Roncalli the last time they met, Deuel decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Cardinals blew past the Cavaliers 48-26 on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cardinals.

Despite the loss, Roncalli had strong showings from Will Haskell, who gained 129 total yards and a touchdown, and Ian Kramer, who picked up 58 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. Haskell was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield on a catch that went for 51 yards.

Deuel's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Roncalli, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coming up, Deuel will welcome Flandreau at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Roncalli, they will take on Mobridge-Pollock at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
