 Meanwhile, Morristown suffered a  tough 18-1 loss at the hands of Hagerstown  on Monday.
 Morristown saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Nevaeh Cox, who  scored a  run and  stole two bases while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of  Alexia Rogers, who  went 1-for-1 with a  double and  an  RBI.
 Oldenburg Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Morristown, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
 Oldenburg Academy might still be hurting after the  12-5 defeat they got from Morristown  in their previous matchup  back in April of 2023. Thankfully for Oldenburg Academy,  Brandi Enterkin (who  scored three  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in four of her five plate appearances) won't be suiting up this time.
