Rowe-Clark has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will square off against The Noble Academy Griffins at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Rowe-Clark has insisted on making their lastfour contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 1-3 during that stretch of close contests.
Rowe-Clark pushed their score all the way to 60 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of Comer by a score of 62-60. Rowe-Clark has struggled against Comer recently, as their match on Thursday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Arnez Jones, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 14 rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last six games he's played. Marcus Fossett was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with two steals.
The Noble Academy won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune two weeks ago. They were dealt a 68-36 defeat at the hands of Comer. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss The Noble Academy has suffered yet this season.
Rowe-Clark has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season. As for The Noble Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-9.
Rowe-Clark was able to grind out a solid win over The Noble Academy in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, winning 51-38. The rematch might be a little tougher for Rowe-Clark since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
