Jackson extended the longest winning streak in 4A Wesco - South this week by beating Tahoma, 56-34. The win marks seventh in a row for the the Timberwolves.
Jackson led the league in scoring this week after putting up 56 points on the Bears.
Kamiak's dynamic duo of Brett Ludeman and Tyri Bethea proved tough for Mount Vernon to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Ludeman threw for 77 yards and one touchdown and Bethea had 32 yards receiving. Austin Hall helped Kamiak's passing attack out by catching one ball for 18 yards.
Davis Giles provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Edmonds-Woodway fell to Bellarmine Prep. He completed 13 passes for 94 yards and also ran for three yards. Giles' favorite target this week was Troy Rheinford, who caught four passes for 26 yards.
Mac McLachan was the most productive running back in the league this week. In nine carries, he ran for 97 yards as the Warriors fell to the Bulldogs. Teammate Desmond Young added to the ground attack by rushing for 83 yards.
Edmonds-Woodway's Giles and Lee Anderson have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading 4A Wesco - South in both passing and receiving yards. Giles has thrown for 1107 yards this season, while Anderson, a 5-foot-9 receiver, has 24 catches for 377 yards. Kamiak's Hall leads the league in rushing yards with 1673.
