Meanwhile, Highland Prep scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat San Miguel 69-20 on the road. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Highland Prep as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Phoenix Christian's loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 4-9. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 22.3 points per game. As for Highland Prep, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-10.
