The Franklin Wildcats lost to the Eaton Eagles back in November of 2022, but the Franklin Wildcats didn't allow the Eaton Eagles the same satisfaction on Saturday. Franklin secured a 50-45 W over Eaton.
Kai Cook was his usual excellent self, scoring 31 points along with five rebounds and two steals. That makes it seven consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Franklin's points. Lincoln Clark was another key contributor, scoring five points.
Franklin has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a massive bump to their 10-5 record this season. As for Eaton, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-8.
Franklin will square off against Bellbrook at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Eaton, Eaton and Oakwood will face off at 7:15 p.m. on January 23rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Oakwood presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Eaton in Ohio (Oakwood is ranked 124th, while Eaton is ranked 499th).
