After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Walnut, East Union was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Water Valley Blue Devils. The victory continues a trend for the Urchins in their matchups with the Blue Devils: they've now won five in a row.

Marley Clayton paced East Union's offense, picking up five kills. Clayton got some help from Lyla Brock and her 11 assists. Brock was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

East Union's win bumped their record up to 25-4. As for Water Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 9-5.
