Walnut Hills' loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Javien Jackson, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Jackson has scored all season. Cj Claxton was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds.
Leading Anderson to victory were Cassius Black and Caden Piening. Black almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine rebounds, while Piening almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was Andrew Patterson, who scored ten points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Walnut Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Anderson, their victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-5.
