Morristown was led to victory by Emma Nelson and DDanika Rutledge. Another player making a difference was Jayla Keithley, who scored six points along with four steals.
Several Jets players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Abby Manley, who scored 11 points along with three steals. Norah Berkenstock was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with four steals.
Morristown has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a massive bump to their 9-12 record this season. As for Hauser, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost 11 of their last 14 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-16 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Morristown's road trip will continue as they head out to face Knightstown at 6:30 p.m. on January 22nd. As for Hauser, they will challenge North Decatur at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. North Decatur will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
