D'Arbonne Woods' pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. Everything went their way against North Caddo as D'Arbonne Woods made off with a 16-0 win. The result was nothing new for D'Arbonne Woods, who have now won eight games by six runs or more so far this season.

Bradley Thrash was excellent, scoring three runs while going 1-for-2. D'Arbonne Woods is undefeated when Thrash posts two or more runs, but 6-7 otherwise.
D'Arbonne Woods was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. The last time their batting average was this high was back in March of 2024.
St. Frederick not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since February 22nd. They blew past Caldwell Parish 11-1. 11 seems to be a good number for the Warriors as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.
AIDEN MELNA made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out nine over six innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two RBI.
In other batting news, CARSON DAY and CLAYTON TURPIN did most of the damage at the plate: DAY went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and three runs, while TURPIN went 2-for-3 with five RBI and one double. Those three runs gave DAY a new career-high. Another player making a difference was WILLIAM PATRICK, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.
D'Arbonne Woods pushed their record up to 12-7 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.1 runs over those games. As for St. Frederick, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-13.
D'Arbonne Woods came out on top in a nail-biter against St. Frederick in their previous matchup back in April of 2021, sneaking past 7-6. The rematch might be a little tougher for D'Arbonne Woods since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
