Port Townsend will look to defend their home turf on Thursday against Kingston at 7:00 PM. Port Townsend is expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the matchup prepared for a fight.
It was all tied up at halftime, but Port Townsend wasn't quite Coupeville's equal in the second half when they met last Friday. Port Townsend came up short against Coupeville, falling 18-28. Port Townsend's loss came about despite a quality game from freshman Tanner Woodley, who threw 2 TDs and picked up 37 yards on the ground.
Meanwhile, Kingston have to be hurting after a devastating 16-49 defeat at the hands of Klahowya. Kingston were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-49.
The losses dropped Port Townsend to 0-2 and Kingston 1-1. We'll see which team satisfies that hunger and which team leaves with an empty belly.
