For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last three times Silverado and Barstow have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Thursday. The Hawks put the hurt on the Aztecs with a sharp 9-2 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Hawks have posted against the Aztecs since April 24, 2023.
Alexis Rodriguez made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits.
