There's no place like home for the Teton Timberwolves, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Friday. They walked away with a 59-50 win over Aberdeen on Saturday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Teton also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.
When it comes to explaining why Aberdeen lost, one person who can't be blamed is Gage Driscoll. Despite the final result, he scored 22 points along with five rebounds and four steals. That's the first time this season that Driscoll scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Canon Foster, who scored 12 points.
Teton's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-4. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.5 points per game. As for Aberdeen, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Teton will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on West Side at 7:00 p.m. on January 17th. As for Aberdeen, they will head out on the road to face off against Declo at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Idaho (Declo is ranked 55th, while Aberdeen is ranked 62nd).
