The Bad Axe Hatchets will head out on the road to square off against the Cass City Red Hawks at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bad Axe is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
Last Thursday, Bad Axe was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 35-34 to Caro.
Meanwhile, Cass City came up short against Laker on Thursday and fell 45-34.
Bad Axe's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Cass City, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
Bad Axe beat Cass City 44-31 in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bad Axe since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
